I'm 41, been married nearly 24 years. We have two kids; son is 22 and daughter is 18. Both kids have moved out, so hubby, me, and our very spoiled rotten
Manchester Terrier - "Tinkerbell" - are all left at home. Tinkerbell is around 14 yrs. old and it terrifies me when I think about that; had her a
little over 4 yrs. Illness and pain entered my life about 1995. My list of health problems include; Chronic Fatigue Syndrome, Fibromyalgia, Tachycardia (rapid
heartbeat stemming for constant stress of being in severe pain), had PolyCystic Ovarian Syndrome, Interstitial Cystitis (auto immune bladder disease), bulging
disks, a ruptured disk, DDD, Peripheral Neuropathy, Connective Tissue Disease, Hypoparathyroidism, Osteoporosis, Osteo Arthritis (extensive damage in feet and
ankles), Migraines, Kidney stones a couple or more times a year, Rotator Cuff Syndrome, Chronic Sinusitis, and Arachnoiditis. I *think* I got most all of it
listed there at least. I'm alone much of the time now days, get out of the house almost exclusively for dr. visits, pick up meds from Pharmacy, and
occassional grocery shopping. I'm pretty much a night owl, but doesn't matter now that children are grown and gone. My best friend is old enough to be
my mother, and lives less than one mile away. She also has chronic health problems, but she lives alone, so I try to help out when I can. It's very nice to
have a friend that truly understands your new limitations due to pain and disease!
